I just wanted to say "thank you" for the time and effort you have put into this blog. I am currently dealing with some severe back pain, after a trip to the ER today I was told that it is most likely at L4 herniation or rupture. I have found a lot of common ground reading through your posts and when my back allows I plan on reading everything. I am in my 4th week of the injury and was originally told it was just a pulled muscle. I am unable to stand for more than 3 minutes before my quad, hip flexor and or glute goes into SEVERE painful spasm. Sitting down had relieved the pain up until today when nothing would work. the ER doc gave me percocet and am trying to schedule an MRI for this week.
Again - thank you.
